Alan and Michael Emmess are a father and son who are fourth generation screeders. They had recently completed a certified course to become Vuba Resin Specialists. Their core business had been running successfully through word of mouth but they wanted to invest in branding and a new website to promote their new resin surfacing services.
We decided to use their surname as it is unique and visually strong which is ideal for great brand awareness and Google searchability. Having a distinctive name meant the logo could be simple yet striking and the colours we used reflected the products.
We were onsite to capture them at work on their first job using the new Vuba resin products . We used both standard cameras and a drone. The aerial shots really show off the clean lines and great design of the garden path while the close-ups illustrate the quality of the product and the finish.
At our initial meeting we discussed the website and the message they would like to get across – local family business with extensive experience and the award-winning Vuba product.
As with all our designs we kept it simple ensuring prospective customers can easily navigate the site and get in touch for a quote.
Alan and Michael both got personalised business cards which they were proud to hand out. The classic design was printed on quality velvet-coated card which reinforced their company ethos.
